Jet Aeration Service

People always ask us, "Do I HAVE to service my Jet aeration system?"  The answer is simple, no,
you don't HAVE to. Just like you don't HAVE to change your oil and you don't HAVE to paint your wooden fence. It is important to maintain it to insure the long healthy life of your system. And unlike our examples, "Illinois Private Sewage Disposal Licensing Act and Code" does require you to maintain your aeration system.  Without taking care of it, your system can get sick.

It really is.  Jet aeration system is packed full of millions of bacteria working very hard for you so your yard doesn't smell like, well, a sewer plant. Keeping the system cleaned and serviced properly is what keeps these little guys alive and thriving.  Don't have time or just don't want to mess with it?

Here's What We Can Do for You *
1. We Send You a Reminder.
That little post card that you receive in the mail is a reminder to call and schedule the service. If you haven't had service in a while, you'll get one once a year anyway to let you know we are still here to help.  If you do, then you will get one six months after your service.  Just give us a call and schedule a one-time appointment for a service fee. 
Don't want to be bothered with scheduling service?  There's a better option.

2.  We Offer One-Year Service Plan
One-year service plan provides you with two services and reduces the cost if you need us in between services.  Our service technician comes out when the service is due and performs the following:
  • remove the aerator inspecting the plugs and power wire
  • clean the shaft clearing it of any debris
  • remove and clean chlorine distribution tube
  • restock chlorine with ten tablets per service (unless you prefer to do it yourself)
  • inspect the media or clean the upflow gravel filter
  • inspect the effluent and the system's discharge point if available
Once the year is up, we send you out a renewal plan. Your Jet aeration system is recommended to be serviced every six months.
